If you’re not yet familiar with the breathtaking storyline of The Nutcracker, it’s a Christmas epic that has captured the hearts and minds of children and adults across time and the world. The ballet showcase tells the story of a Clara who finds herself enamored by a nutcracker soldier toy given to her by her godfather, the Drosselmeyer. The doll later transformed into a soldier upon the clock striking at midnight and a battle between soldiers and army of mice ensues. Clara, being the only person to witness this staggering event assisted the nutcracker in vanquishing the Mouse King. After his victory, the Nutcracker transformed into a human prince and thereby invited Clara to join his journey into the Land of the Sweets.
