Hailing from Latin America, Amanda Miguel is an Argentine-born Mexican singer-songwriter and pianist. With more than a whopping 36 years in the music world, Amanda Miguel has dropped 12 stunning studio albums, has sold more than 15 million copies around the globe, and has taken home several gold and platinum disc certifications. Amanda Miguel burst onto the scene at just 17 years old when she joined the group, Mediterráneo. After the band racked up a huge following in LA, she was discovered by a Univision network record executive, and launched her own solo career. Her debut album, El Sonido Vol. 1, landed in 1982 to great success! “Él “Me Mintió” and “Mi Buen Corazón” became staples on the airwaves. And that was just the beginning!!
Her fourth studio album, El Pecado, arrived in 1987, and climbed to number 2 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart with its title track. Another fan favorite is “Ámame una Vez Más.” It was such a hit that it was nominated for a Lo Nuestro Award for Pop Song of the Year in 1997.
