You may have heard of Eslabon Armado’s music on TikTok the past couple of years, but the band has been around since 2017 and have become a global sensation throughout the years.

Eslabon Armado is a Californian based Mexican group. Formed in 2017, the group initially consisted of brothers Pedro and Brian Tovar, and Gabriel Hidalgo. The trio were heavily influenced by the music of their parent’s generation and implemented ranchero and norteño music into their own practice. Eslabon Armado has released eight studio albums, with the latest ‘Vibras de Noche II’ released in March 2025. The band’s well known tracks include ‘La Durango,’ ‘Te Encontré,’ ‘Jugaste y Sufrí,’ and their historic global number 1 hit ‘Ella Baila Sola.’ Eslabon Armado’s TikTok fame, in combination with their relentless musical capabilities, has gained the band 15 Million monthly listeners on Spotify alone. The group have an audience from Mexico, America and across the oceans.
In 2023, Eslabon Armado’s single ‘Ella Baila Sola,’ went viral on TikTok and became a monumental stage of their career. The track reached number 4 on Billboard’s Hot 100, becoming the first Regional Mexican song to get to such a position. Due to TikTok’s popularity, the song peaked at number 1 position on Billboard’s Global 200 chart, setting a historic record for Eslabon Armado, and making them the only Mexican group to reach the top spot.
