McAllen Performing Arts Center
Traditional Tex-Mex music that made bands like Intocable and Bronco popular before corridos took over the genre is alive and well thanks to bands like Hermanos Espinoza. The brothers are taking their "Dios Por Delante" 2024 Tour to the McAllen Performing Arts Center on Friday, November 29th. As is usually the case for shows like this, people from both sides of the border are going to flock to the Performing Arts Center to catch the concert. It's crazy to think that Hermanos Espinoza are going on this tour without having officially released a full album yet.
The style and songs they have produced, though, have been so well received that they've decided to hit the road before coming back to the studio. This decision is much to the delight of fans from Reynosa and McAllen, who will be getting a chance to watch them live. If you want to be in attendance on Friday, November 29th, be sure to hit that get tickets link today.
Hermanos Espinoza stick mostly to the romantic side of Mexican regional music. We're talking about true romance, not "La Que Anda Bailando Sola," no offense to Peso, but if you're looking for true heart-to-heart tracks, that's what you'll get from the brothers. Of course, these lyrics are going to be accompanied by the unmistakable sound of the accordion and the entire "banda" setup. This Friday night in late November is perfect for an outing with friends just to have drinks and enjoy the show. If your significant other happens to be available, though, make this a date night. You're not going to regret it by any stretch of the imagination.
You're even going to feel "blessed" by Hermanos Espinoza when they start playing the tunes of "Dios Por Delante," their most popular song, which gives the tour its name as well. The lyrics on this track really evoke that sense of grit that's prominent in the Mexican-American community. Of course, the faith that many within it share as well. The fact that people relate to this song is one of the main reasons why Hermanos Espinoza have taken off in popularity over the last few years.
Although, the McAllen Performing Arts Center is a bit "fancy" for an event like this. The auditorium won't look anything like the Palanque where you could see the duo perform south of the border, regardless the venue is no stranger to these shows. The locals here in McAllen love their Mexican regional music. That means that you'll likely find "cheves" available throughout the show. You're going to be able to get in the mood that's "necessary" to enjoy a show like this. Pretty much the entire theater is going to be open for this Friday night. Want to be up close to Hermanos Espinoza? Then you know you need to find places in that orchestra center section. You'll be able to hear the banda music in the parking lot, so you don't need to worry too much if you just want a spot in the theater to enjoy the show. What you do need to do is click the get tickets link right now to make sure there's still room for you to see Hermanos Espinoza live.
