Since Natalia Lafourcade hit the stage at the turn of the century, she has been an active and productive player in the Latin Music scene.The Mexico City born singer and guitarist is the daughter of Chilean musician Gaston Lafourcade and pianist María del Carmen Silva Contreras - so music and artistry have quite literally always been her life. Her mix of sultry guitar chords and ear opening vocals has been heard all over the world, with performances in Montreal, Miami, New York City, Barcelona, and Argentina. She has been featured on tracks with multiple heavyweights in the Spanish music space, including Los Daniels, Alex Gonzalez, Sergio Vallin, and Miguel. Natalia has won multiple awards in her career, including Mexican song of the year and Best Folk Album at the Latin Grammys, and Best Latin Rock Alternative Album at the Grammys, to name a few.
