It's a decent idea; a lot of the younger crowd who might be looking to see Mario Aguilar would probably write off a Teo Gonzalez show as something their parents might be interested in. Bringing these two together, though, is going to make this Friday, March 21st, a family comedy night at the McAllen Performing Arts Center. These types of shows are super rare! Most of the time, the young and the old generation have completely different tastes in comedy. When you mix them together, you don't have much of a choice. This is going to be a show that everyone in the family is gonna want to attend.

That "versus" in the tour title is rather accurate. The old heads are coming out to be in Teo's corner, with the younger generation gravitating toward Mario. What you might not realize at this point is that by the end of the night, you're going to leave this venue with a greater sense of appreciation for both performers. The younger generation who might have thought Teo was done is going to realize the man's got plenty left in the tank! He's still as sharp as ever. Meanwhile, the older generation who may be put off by Mario Aguilar, particularly his bits in drag, are going to realize he's a blast. Let's be fair; you laughed super hard when Los Mascabrothers played "Jitomata" and "Perejila." It's comedy drag, not anything vulgar that you'd need to turn away from!

The McAllen Performing Arts Center is a great venue for comedy shows because you can perfectly see the stage from wherever it is that you're sitting.
